Every other seminar company sends you to the university with a second bill and a second enrollment. Our Full Weekend includes 3 graduate-level credits from University of Massachusetts Global — a regionally accredited university (WSCUC), the same accreditation standard as any state university — with the enrollment handled for you.
HOW IT WORKS · IN PLAIN LANGUAGE
Transcript titles, no surprises: Friday's course prints as Classroom Management. Saturday's prints as Differentiated Instructional Strategies — the university's title for the Student Engagement & Motivation program. Same course, same credits.
YOUR STATE'S MATH · VERIFIED AGAINST PRIMARY SOURCES
PENNSYLVANIA · ACT 48
3 credits = 90 Act 48 hours — half your five-year requirement.
PDE: 1 SEMESTER CREDIT = 30 ACT 48 HOURS · REQUIREMENT: 180 HOURS OR 6 CREDITS PER 5 YEARS
Credits from accredited higher-ed institutions count; UMass Global's official e-transcript goes straight to PDE. Newer teachers: Level I converts to Level II on 24 post-baccalaureate credits from a regionally accredited, degree-granting institution — these qualify, and the same credits can be applied to your Act 48 record. Most PA salary schedules also advance on graduate credits.
MICHIGAN · RENEWAL + THE NEW-TEACHER LAW
3 credits = half your renewal — and they move your pay, which SCECHs can't.
MDE: RENEW WITH 6 SEMESTER CREDITS (REGIONALLY ACCREDITED) OR 150 SCECHS — COMBINABLE
SCECHs renew your certificate but don't advance your salary lane; graduate credits do both. For districts: MCL 380.1526 requires every new teacher's first three years to include 15 days — 90 hours — of induction PD, and the statute names classroom management and regional seminars conducted by master teachers. State mentoring-and-induction grant money flows to districts for exactly this.
OHIO · FIVE-YEAR RENEWAL
3 credits = half your five-year renewal — plus salary-lane value.
STATE BOARD CONVERSION: 6 SEMESTER HOURS = 18 CEUS = 180 CONTACT HOURS
Employed Ohio teachers route renewal through their LPDC and IPDP — most accept regionally accredited graduate credit outright, and we provide the course documentation to make approval a rubber stamp. Unlike contact hours alone, graduate credits also count toward salary-lane advancement in most districts.
COLORADO · SEVEN-YEAR RENEWAL
3 credits = 45 contact hours — half your renewal.
CDE: 1 SEMESTER HOUR = 15 CONTACT HOURS · REQUIREMENT: 90 HOURS OR 6 SEMESTER HOURS PER 7 YEARS
Colorado educators self-certify alignment — this training maps cleanly to school culture & climate and student safety & well-being. Heads-up on the state rule: at least 10 of your 90 hours must include behavioral-health and special-education topics, so plan your mix. Graduate credits also advance salary lanes in most Colorado districts.
Teaching somewhere else? The credits are from a regionally accredited university, so they travel — call (800) 641-2068 and we'll talk through your state's rules together. Salary-lane acceptance is always set district-by-district; when in doubt, one email to HR before you enroll settles it.
CREDIT QUESTIONS · ANSWERED STRAIGHT
Three practical classroom activities per credit — things you'd want to try anyway — written up simply, plus short manual readings. Two- and three-credit courses add a brief written component. Six months to finish, on your schedule. It's professional development you apply, then document.
It's a regionally accredited university (WSCUC) — the same accreditation category as your state's public universities — and the Time To Teach partnership is documented on the university's own website. Districts see these transcripts regularly.
Yes — up to 4 graduate credits per day's course at checkout. The Full Weekend simply includes 3 in the price, which is why it's the deal.
You still keep everything else — the training, the manual, the CEU certificate. Credits post only when the coursework's done, and we'll nudge you before the window closes.
